Viscount Bennett Update

The developer of the former Viscount Bennett site has shared an update on the project with the community association.

Where the project stands

• The current concept is seven six-storey buildings with one level of underground parking.

• The master plan is preliminary. It is subject to City approvals and market conditions, and may change as the project progresses.

• The developer is awaiting approval of the construction drawings before moving forward with the permitting process.

• Construction was originally expected to begin in November 2026. Because of the approval process, the start may be delayed to February 2027.

• The developer is targeting completion of the final building by December 2033, subject to receiving the required approvals and proceeding without appeals or other unforeseen delays.
