For all of those intrepid winter bikers in the community, the new bike lane on 12th Avenue will blow you away! You can now easily go to the Beltline from our community by bike along quiet side roads and dedicated bike lanes. If you are particularly ambitious, you can even take the 12th Avenue bike infrastructure and go all of the way to the Stampede grounds, Saddledome, or Inglewood. This is a real game changer for people that like to bike around the city and we expect that it will only get better once the 17th Ave main streets project is finished.
You can access this new bike lane from the river pathway or through Scarboro. Here are some route suggestions using current bike infrastructure on Google Maps.
