The Richmond/Knob Hill Community Association would like to keep the rink open and safe for everyone to use. We ask that everyone that goes to the rink follows the government protocols listed below and get a membership to show your support for this wonderful amenity.

"Please note that the Government of Alberta has recently imposed additional public health measures to protect the health system and limit the spread of COVID-19. For information on these measures, visit the enhanced public health measures web page.

Outdoor sport, recreation and physical activity is permitted, as long as they are physically distanced, follow guidance and abide by the outdoor gathering limit.

Skating at an outdoor rink is permitted. Physical distancing must be maintained at all times. Anyone playing hockey at an outdoor rink should observe physical distancing and abide by all public health measures.

There could be more than 10 people at a rink if it is not a social gathering, for example, several unrelated strangers who have come to skate and not socialize and are able to stay 2 metres apart from those not in their household.

Effective November 27, community centres are closed for in-person services. If recreating outdoors, we encourage Albertans to dress warmly and be prepared for a possibility that there may be no supporting services available."
