Nature Adventure Playground Wrap-Up

On Saturday, September 12, 2020, the Richmond/Knob Hill Community Association, in partnership with the City of Calgary, hosted a Nature Adventure Playground on a warm, and sunny day. The City staffed the playground and set up on our grounds by the community association hall from 11-3 pm. This was a free event and had 68 participants come to the pop-up playground. The playground set up included nature objects and other found objects to engage the imagination and play of children and their parents.

Volunteers from our Board of Directors hosted a free membership drive and briefed parents on the community association and the amenities we provide to members and residents. In our conversations, we heard about what things are of interest to some of our community members and appreciated everyone's input. Thanks to the City of Calgary and to all who came to this event.
