This just in from the City of Calgary:
Work completed on west 17 Avenue
This season crews were working on the north side of 17 Avenue between 37 and 33 Streets, and on the south side between 33 and 30 Streets SW. Work included new sidewalks, street lights, wheel chair ramps, a multi-use pathway on the north side of 17 Avenue, and improved pedestrian crossings.

Pedestrian realm improvements and lifecycle work on the 17 Avenue bridge over Crowchild Trail
Winter 2020
Over the winter, crews will continue to work on traffic signal improvements along
17 Avenue SW, including 29 Street, 27 Street, 26 Street, and 25 Street SW
Sidewalks and the multi-use pathway will be open for use
