RICHMOND KNOB HILL

A Place to Have Fun. A Place to Think Big. A Place to Call Home.

ABOUT

Richmond Knob Hill is a vibrant, established community nestled between 17th Avenue and Marda Loop in southwest-central Calgary and is located between the communities of Killarney, Shaganappi, and Bankview.

The Community Association is dedicated to improving the livability of the neighbourhood and our current focuses include: community-building events; liasoning with the City of Calgary regarding development; transportation advocacy; and ensuring that the community centre (the hall, skating rinks, green spaces, and community gardens) continues to be a thriving hub for all residents to enjoy.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Dear Timbits Parents:

Given the expanding health crisis surrounding the Covid-19 virus, we have taken the decision to cancel this year’s Timbits Soccer program.  All indications are that social distancing practices will need to be kept in effect through May and likely June of this year. The health and safety of our community and families is our main priority and has led to this decision.

Refunds for registrations made to date will be processed through PayPal over the next two weeks. Please contact us only if you have not seen a refund by April 10th.

We expect to offer the program next year.  Until then, we wish you and your family a safe and healthy year.

Timbits Organizing Committee - Richmond Knob Hill Community Association

Please note that the following events are cancelled until further notice: Easter Party, Paint the Pavement, Adventure Playground (tentative), and the Volunteer Appreciation Night. The annual general meeting is tentatively post-poned to September.

Effectively immediately, all playgrounds in Calgary are not to be used. This includes the playgrounds at City parks, and all community associations. This is to reduce the spread of COVID-19 via playground equipment surfaces.  Signs will be posted by Calgary Parks in the next day or so, along with yellow caution tape.  For the time being skateparks will remain open however social distancing and capacity guidelines should be followed.
