The Access to Food team at the City of Calgary has developed a map for residents to locate no and low cost food resources in Calgary (e.g. food hampers, community food pantries, delivery services, gift card programs, prepared meals, etc.). Aside from many resources in downtown Calgary, central-southwest resources that are reasonably close to Richmond/Knob Hill include:
Community Kitchen Program of Calgary: The Good Food Box
Description: Low-cost boxes of fruits and vegetables are available for pick-up to all Calgarians. Boxes are available in three sizes:
Small (20 - 25 pounds) = $25
Medium (30 – 35 pounds) = $30
Large (40 – 45 pounds) = $35
